Simply Homemade | Organic Cinnamon Apple Crumble

This is such an easy recipe and has slowly become a hit at family gatherings! It easily serves about 12 people and fills the house with the most amazing, welcoming aroma. Everyone will be asking what you're making.

Ingredients
10 apples, cored/sliced
1 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. Gold Medal flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. water
1 c. organic raw oats
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. melted butter

Step 1: Foundation
Lay sliced apples in your baking dish (I use a 9x13 inch to lay the apples out neatly).

Step 2: Secret Sauce
Mix your white sugar, 1 tbsp. of flour, 1/4 tsp. of nutmeg, and ground cinnamon together to sprinkle over apples. Then, pour your 1/2 c. of water evenly over mixture. This simmers around the apples as they bake (yum!).

Step 3: Time for topping!
Combine the oats, 1 c. flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and melted butter together. I've found mixing this with my hands is best. Once it's evenly mixed and "crumbly", sprinkle over the apple mixture in your baking dish.

Step 4: Bake it
Place in the oven for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove and enjoy!
