Rachel holds a BA and MA in English Literature from Cal State Long Beach and a MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.

A defined empath; Rachel's inspiration for writing is drawn mainly from her experiences. She believes if something moves you to emotion, it should be written. If an idea gives you chills, it should be explored ... and if your heart pulls you towards a specific person, place, or thing, it should be followed.

When not working, writing, or experiencing life; Rachel enjoys genealogy research, baking, and being at home with her husband Parker and 3 children. Their home is made complete by rescue dog, Henry Tom the Poodle and Lucy Rose the Great Pyrenees.
